Maintenance of the native plant areas around PV takes a group effort (folks from campus landscaping are helpful, but understaffed). On WED. JUNE 5 from 3-7 pm I'll have some tools and such to weed,
prune, and spread wood chips. If you'd like to help, bring a pair of gloves and whatever clothes you're comfortable working in. If you have any tools for weeding, shoveling, or raking feel free to
bring them, although I'll gather what I can. There will be jobs requiring various levels of exertion from bending and pulling to wheelbarrowing and spreading. Our collection of native trees,
shrubs, and wildflowers is now up to 175, but it takes effort to keep stuff thriving. Thanks for considering—Dr. J
